Our mission

Modernizing the software skilled nursing runs on

The teams caring for our most vulnerable residents deserve tools as modern as any in software. MedFlo AI exists to give skilled nursing and LTPAC an EHR that is familiar to use and dramatically better than what came before.

Why we're building MedFlo

Skilled nursing and long-term/post-acute care have long been served by EHRs designed a decade or more ago. They work — but they're slow, click-heavy, hard to learn, and closed off from the rest of a facility's data. Meanwhile, the rest of software has moved on.

We started MedFlo because caregivers were spending too much of their day fighting their software instead of caring for residents. We believe a modern, AI-native platform can keep everything staff rely on — clinical, eMAR, MDS, billing, admissions, reporting — while removing the friction and the busywork.

Our approach is deliberately grounded: AI drafts and summarizes and flags, but a licensed clinician always makes the call. The product is built for HIPAA compliance, open by design, and made to be a genuine alternative to legacy skilled nursing systems.

What we value

Principles we build by

Clinicians first

Software should give time back to caregivers, not take it. Every design decision starts with the person at the point of care.

Honest by default

We describe what our product does plainly, and we keep a human in control of every clinical decision the AI touches.

Open, not locked in

Your data is yours. We build on modern standards with a documented API so you always have a way out and a way to connect.

The team

Builders from healthcare and software

MedFlo is built by a team that pairs deep skilled-nursing domain knowledge with modern software and applied-AI experience. We're growing deliberately, with clinicians closely involved in the product.
